Marshmallow Land was a platformer released by a subsidary of Intelle Co, named Intelle Co. Games in 2007. It had a monochromatic art style rather unique to it at the time. It took inspiration from some of the older videogames of the 80s.
Development began in late November 2006, and steady progress was made on it. The game was officially announced in Febuary 2007, and it was slated for release before the Christmas season.
However, some things caused serious delay. A catastrophic chemical leak caused the main building that housed Intelle Co. Games to be shut down for a span of 3 months.
Development quickly resumed after the building reopened, and after a couple other issues, the game released on December 2nd 2007.
Only two months later however, the game was quietly removed from store shelves. Intelle Co. Games was dissolved and no further mention of it was put on any of Intelle Co's websites.
The game hadn't sold very well, and this was cause for Intelle Co. to drop the idea of game development.
